Youth Group

This class is one of the first programs of its kind in the U.S. sponsored by an AKC member obedience club. In a fun and safe environment, 8 to 18 year olds will be taught responsible dog ownership, health care, safety, and grooming. Beginning obedience will be taught and advanced students will be promoted to the appropriate regular Old Pueblo class. Scholarships are available for the advanced classes, if needed. A demo team will be formed and team sports will be part of the fun. The goal is to encourage young people to show their pet in Canine Good Citizenship, obedience, rally, and junior showmanship.
