 Membership

Membership is open to anyone who has attended a majority of classes in an six-week
or longer training session. A member of the immediate family of an adult member is
eligible without this requirement.

No applications for membership will be accepted the day of registration for
classes.

Benefits
Members can receive incentive awards which are earned by being a club official or volunteering for various club activities.

The club recognizes the achievements of members and dogs.

Members receive information on the most up-to-date training methods, books, and videos.

Members can participate in training seminars and continue their education through monitoring and assisting with classes.

Members have access to knowledgeable club members who can answer questions and help with training problems.

Members have the opportunity and location to continue building relationships with their dogs.

Who Can Join

Junior Membership is for individuals from age twelve to eighteen. Junior members enjoy all of the club privileges,with two exceptions: Junior members can not vote or hold
an office.

Adult Membership entitles an individual to all the club privileges. Adult members can vote at membership meetings and are eligible to hold an office.

All members agree to abide by the constitution, bylaws,and rules of the Old Pueblo Dog Training Club and The American Kennel Club. All applications for membership must be approved by a majority vote of the club's Officers and Board of Directors.

Application for Membership
Ask an instructor or any Board member for a membership application or download the membership form. In addition to your name, address, and occupation, your application must include two endorsement signatures from adult members. The membership application also asks individuals to identify areas for volunteer service.
