Service Description
The Canine Good Citizen program was started by the American Kennel Club in 1989. It is designed to teach basic obedience skills, that show the dog has good manners at home and in public. Handlers and their dogs will practice the skills needed to successfully pass the CGC test. The last class consists of an official CGC test if desired. Owners of dogs that pass the test will receive paperwork they can submit to AKC to receive an official certificate conferring the award of a CGC. AKC now recognizes CGC as an official title for AKC registered dogs! By registering you are acknowledging you have read and agree to our refund, liability and vaccination policies. (Proof of Rabies vaccination is required prior to the first class. Please email a copy of your dog's most recent Rabies vaccination to opdtc@opdogtraining.com)
